Retirement is a time of transition that can be both exhilarating and at the same time unsettling.  This program is designed to help with the transition.  Representatives from the Teacher Retirement System and the Social Security System will join us in the morning to share information about the process of receiving benefits and to answer your questions.  Through experience, we know that there are many part- and full-time employment and volunteer options available to those who choose to continue to seek some form of work.

Our purpose in this workshop is to assist those who may retire in addressing both the apprehensions and excitement of the experience.  Participants will have the opportunity of hearing from a panel of retirees about their transitional experiences and the continuing opportunities available as a retired school leader.
