To be held at Concordia University Chicago This conference will provide a university setting for practitioners and university professors to seek common ground in the effort to combine theory and practice.
The conference has been designed to explore three major questions: What are the roles and responsibilities of adjunct professors, superintendents and central office administrators? How should universities prepare future leaders in educational administration? How do we reconcile our educational platforms with the reality of politics? Conference Sessions
Opening Session: Understanding Your Colleagues: Job Alike and Job Different. Presentation and panel discussion with group interactiton. (So you want to be a principal, central office administrator, superintendent or adjunct professor.) Other Sessions: (To be repeated at least twice) • The Principal's Use of Time, Research and Reality • Supervision: Theory and Practice • Fitting in With the Superintendent and the Board • Transition From Teacher to Administrator • Becoming an Adjunct Professor • Increasing Learning Capacity: A Classroom Model for Boosting Teacher and Student Performance Program Fees (include morning refreshments, lunch, and materials) All Attendees $99.00 Per Person
