Education in general and schools in particular are at another crossroad as we attempt to improve student academic performance and achievement.  The Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD) a premier educational organization, has spearheaded a new compact to engage us all in pursuing the development of the "whole child."  Teaching to the test will not be enough to equip students of all grade levels with the 21st century skills they will need to survive and prosper.  This workshop will introduce and explore the ASCD "Whole Child Compact" and provide information and strategies that will enhance your district/school improvement efforts.
