Establishing Professional Learning Communities with Thomas Many, Retired Supt. of School Dist. 96 is being held on October 28, 2010 at the National-Louis University, Lisle Campus. This workshop has been "clustered" with 6 power breakfasts to create supportive networks that focus on the development of PLCs.
General Workshops
GENERAL workshops are designed to assist participants with the practical application of ideas, theories, and policies. They are interactive and practical. Many activities principals and other educators engage in are collaborative in nature. Thus, it is often useful for teams to learn together when seeking new ideas or redefining skills.
The general workshops which follow are designed to assist leaders and their teams in applying and adapting ideas to the school or district setting. MPC, Inc. members and other participants are welcome and encouraged to register in teams to facilitate discussion and application in the “back home” setting. (See Registration Insert for special team registration rates.)
Special Note: Fee for Educational Leadership Grad Students from a partner university is $60.00*. Please attach a copy of your student I.D. when registering for an MPC event.
